This will be a special time to honor his life, remember with gratitude the moments shared and keep her legacy alive in our hearts. Through the live broadcast, we will be able to be united in faith and love, regardless of distance.

Elizabeth Sierra Escudero, de 90 años, residente de Keene, Texas por más de cuatro décadas, falleció pacíficamente el sábado, 14 de junio de 2025.
Nació el 18 de enero de 1935 en Veracruz, México, y dedicó su vida al servicio, la familia y la fe. Fue una madre entregada, una maestra apasionada —estableciendo un kínder por iniciativa propia— y más adelante en su vida, ejerció como enfermera.
Elizabeth era una mujer profundamente creativa. Su gran pasión fue el corte, la costura y la confección, y encontraba gran alegría en consentir a sus seres queridos con sus bellas creaciones. Vivió con un amor férreo por Dios, por sus hijos y por la iglesia, valores que marcaron su vida y su legado. Aun en los momentos más difíciles, siempre tenía una sonrisa que iluminaba a quienes la rodeaban.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Haroldo, Diana y Myrna; sus nietos Sylvia, Vania, Madelyn, David y Eliann; y sus bisnietos Caleb, Abby, Olive, Luca, Eri, Lisa y Anri.
Su vida fue una inspiración de amor, entrega y fe. Quienes la conocieron la recordarán con gratitud, cariño y la calidez de su sonrisa constante.

Elizabeth Sierra Escudero, 90, a resident of Keene, Texas for more than four decades, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Born on January 18, 1935 in Veracruz, México, she dedicated her life to service, family and faith. She was a devoted mother, a passionate teacher - establishing a kindergarten on her own initiative - and later in life, she practiced nursing.
Elizabeth was a deeply creative woman. Her great passion was sewing, dressmaking, and she found great joy in spoiling her loved ones with her beautiful creations. She lived with an unwavering love for God, her children and the church, values that marked her life and legacy. Even in the most difficult moments, she always had a smile that enlightened those around her.
She is survived by her children Haroldo, Diana and Myrna; her grandchildren Sylvia, Vania, Madelyn, David and Eliann; and her great-grandchildren Caleb, Abby, Olive, Luca, Eri, Lisa and Anri.
Her life was an inspiration of love, dedication and faith. Those who knew her will remember her with gratitude, affection and the warmth of her constant smile.

13 Tampoco queremos, hermanos, que ignoréis acerca de los que duermen, para que no os entristezcáis como los otros que no tienen esperanza.
14 Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, así también traerá Dios con Jesús a los que durmieron en él.
15 Por lo cual os decimos esto en palabra del Señor: que nosotros que vivimos, que habremos quedado hasta la venida del Señor, no precederemos a los que durmieron.
16 Porque el Señor mismo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel, y con trompeta de Dios, descenderá del cielo; y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero.
17 Luego nosotros los que vivimos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos en las nubes para recibir al Señor en el aire, y así estaremos siempre con el Señor.
